Balance

Studies have shown that balance exercises using Sitfits or wobble boards improve the balance reducing the risk of injury.  Good propioception is essential when performing any sport or pastime.  Time spent on improving one's balance will increase confidence, coordination reducing the risk of falls.  Many NHS Trusts are running anti-fall clinics for the elderly in an attempt to reduce the number of hip injuries and hip replacements due to falls.  Everybody can benefit from using Sitfits, wobble or rockker boards.  They can be used with other exercise equipment such as toning balls or resistance bands much in the same way as exercise balls.
